How do I stop GroupWise from opening Internet links in a small window?
First of all, here's a brief explanation
When you open Internet Explorer and log into the SonicWall, there is a small login window that is opened and that remains open while you are connected to the Internet. Usually, by habit, people end up closing all of their Internet Explorer windows except for this one. When you click on a link in GroupWise, it tries to open the link in the last Internet Explorer window that was opened. If that login window is the only one that is open, GroupWise will try to use it.
How do I change this behavior?
Answer: Follow these steps
1. In GroupWise, go to Tools, then Options
2. Then doubleclick on Environment
3. Click on the Default Actions tab:
4. In the section highlighted below, under Web Browser, select the circle next to "Open new window". This will force GroupWise to open all new Internet Explorer windows inside of a new browser window. Clock OK to close this window and then close the options menu.
