Outlook sends old Out of Office message

Question:  I'm going on vacation and I set my Out Of Office reply with a new message.  However, when people send me emails, my old message is still being sent.  How do I fix this?

Answer:  This is an incompatibility that is caused at TSI because of the various technologies currently in use...mainly Exchange 2007, Outlook 2003 and the BlackBerry server.

How do I fix it?  The fix for this requires a few steps that the employee needs to complete.  Here are the steps:

1.  Open Outlook 2003 and delete the message in OOA (Out of Office Assistant) and save & close
2.  Follow the steps in this article to setup OOA:  http://knowledgebase.transitionalservices.org/entry/18/

When you need to update your OOA message, always do so using OWA.
