How do I login to the TSI Network from a thin client?

Employees at TSI's offices have the ability to login to the network from thin client computers.  Here are the steps:

1.  When your thin client first starts up, you will be presented with a screen where it asks for your username and password.  Enter your username and password and then press OK:

2.  If this is the first time you have logged into TSI's network, you will be prompted to change your password.  TSI's password policy is as follows:

 - The password must be at least 8 characters in length
 - There must be at least one Upper Case letter
 - There must be at least one Lower Case letter
 - There must be at least one number or symbol

So, an example of a password that will work at TSI is Barbed23Wire or Purple*Boat1.

Passwords are remembered by the system and you cannot use the same password twice.  In addition, you cannot use a password that contains any part of your name or login name.  For example, if you are Joe Smith, you can't use 23Smith23.  The system will not allow it.

3.  The next screen you will see after this is the default printer screen.  It looks like this...

If you are using a thin client at a one of TSI's remote offices, select the printer that is located at the office where you are working.  Please keep in mind that if you are normally at one site but working at another, you want to pick the printer where you physically are located.  Otherwise, your printed documentation will be sent to another site by mistake.

Once you pick the printer, and click OK, it will confirm the printer you selected, then you can press OK.  After this, Microsoft Outlook will open up so that you can access your email.

For new users, it is important that they either pick a printer or click on the X in the top right corner to close the window (if you don't want to pick a printer).  This is the only way that Outlook will open with the correct profile to access your email.
